JoAnn and Capt. Jack are returning to Snug Harbor, RI where we started sport fishing 35 years ago. For the past 20 summers we have commercial, sport, and charter fished the East Cape and Islands out of Harwich Port, Ma. Prior to that we fished the offshore waters south of Nantucket, Martha's Vineyard, Block Island, and Montauk out of Pt. Judith, R.I. Jack has been a lifelong resident of Rhode Island leaving only for a tour of duty as a U.S. Army officer during the Vietnam period after graduation from the University of Rhode Island. He is a certified U.S. Coast Guard Captain, a member of the National Association Of Charterboat Operators, and the IGFA. As both mate and angler, Jack has won and placed in the Block Island Billfish, Rhode Island Tuna, and Point Judith Masters Invitational Tuna tournaments.
 

JoAnn earned a B.A. degree from Wheaton College, MA and an MBA from the University of R.I. JoAnn has won the Allen Harbor "Shoot Out" Fourth of July tournament every year she has participated on the Maverick.

We have enjoyed fishing the offshore waters of Rhode Island and Cape Cod, Massachusetts for striped bass, bluefish, sharks, marlin, yellowfin and bluefin tuna as well as billfish in Fla. and the Caribbean.
